Will Hillary Clinton be eaten in 2016?

If polls, pundits and supporters are to be believed, Hillary Clinton’s Democratic presidential nomination is a formality. She’ll be anointed party standard-bearer and go on to victory in November 2016. Not so fast.
Political ideology and government philosophy aside, Clinton is seasoned, experienced, and eminently qualified on multiple levels to be president. But no one has asked two key questions.
Will Hillary Clinton be hungriest among other candidates to get the job? Or, as in 2008, will someone be hungrier and eat her first?
History is being forgotten. An undistinguished Illinois state senator became an equally undistinguished US senator. About half way into his first term, Barack Obama captured the Democratic presidential nomination.
If you’re nice, you can say he outmaneuvered a better qualified candidate. If you’re intellectually honest, you realize the man is more ruthless than his public demeanor suggests. After Obama announced his presidential intentions, the political juggernaut steam rolled, raised money, and won key endorsements like those of Ted Kennedy and family.
